Please take a few minutes to look over this site and I believe it will allow you to get to know me.

My career with CWA and AT&T has afforded me the experience that is necessary to serve you in the role of Secretary-Treasurer.

When Pam Siefers made the decision to retire, I knew the person who would take her place would have a lot to live up to in order to fill the role as Secretary-Treasurer.  Pam has done a wonderful job in managing the daily needs of our members while maintaining the financial responsibility of our local.

After thinking long and hard about the decision of who would be the most qualified person to fill this position, I came to the conclusion that with the diverse experience and long time active contribution to our local that I would be the best candidate.  I made the decision because I believe you must have a passion for our work in order to be effective.  I dedicated my life long ago to being an active participant in the labor movement.

The benefits coordinator for the core members is not something that is associated with the Secretary-Treasurer position.  It is a position that is assigned by District 4.  I have worked with our district on many issues over the years and believe I have earned the respect from them to receive the assignment of State Benefits Coordinator.  This would ensure that our members would receive the same representation that they have grown accustomed.

I have held many positions within our union during my 27 years as a union member. I have accepted every challenge put before me and have always devoted myself to making a difference in the lives of our members.

I believe the role of Secretary-Treasurer is extremely important to our local and our future.  The major role of Secretary-Treasurer is to balance our budget and make sure we are able to thrive.  In order to continue to thrive as a fully functioning local we need someone who understands the importance of maintaining the balance of the CWA triangle.  The triangle is the foundation of how CWA operates and is critical to remaining a fully functioning local.

When you considered the responsibility, the dedication, and the experience necessary I believe you will agree that I am the most qualified candidate to take this position.

Please allow me the opportunity to serve you as Secretary-Treasurer by voting for Beth A Dubree.

In Solidarity,

Beth A Dubree
